Mr. Knapp appraises personal property from the 19th and 20th century American and Western European art including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, decorative objects and valuable furnishings.

As a fine art consultant, Mr. Knapp assists art investors in purchasing and deacquisitioning, facilitates bequests of art to institutions, advises private collectors and guides the direction of their collections. In addition, he organizes and leads collectors on art sojourn to Europe.
